Website Setup Checklist

Welcome to the Faithwebsites / Dynamic Internet Solutions community!  In an effort to streamline your initial web site setup as much as possible, we have developed the following checklist for you to follow. Please take a few minutes to view this checklist and complete step 1. Once you complete this step, we are able to add your organization onto our project list. All web site correspondence should take place via email using sales@faithwebsites.com.  Please include your organization name in all correspondence.

Contact Information: Send your contact information. We will invoice you via email for the initial setup fee and payment needs to be received before we can begin your banner design, however, you can move forward on this checklist and submit your items so we can move quickly once payment is received.

Custom Top Banner Design: See sample banner designs. We will design your banner using your elements and instructions and include one revision if needed.

In order to get started on your organization's banner, please email us the following:

  1. Do you want a static banner (included in setup) or a dynamic banner design with moving elements (additional $150)? See sample dynamic banners.
  2. Include your logo in .jpg format (if you have one that you want on your banner)
  3. Tagline or Text to include in the banner
  4. Colors to use (be as specific as possible or include a .jpg file with your color in it)
  5. Pictures that you want us to include (photos must be supplied to us)
  6. Special instructions or samples to help us complete your design (NOTE: only one revision is included in your fee)

Navigation Setup and Home Page Layout: Although we have one basic template, you have several options for how your links work and your pages are laid out. Choose how you want your page links and home page set up.

Also include your Home Page Content in this same email. Send all Text and/or Photos you want on your home page. It may help you to look at the Sample Sites page again for ideas. You may also want to use images from our Promo Graphics Library for links on the right side of your home page. If so, just include the exact name of the graphic and where it should link to in your email.

Email us your Site Map and Home Page content (you may change both on your own later as needed). Click here for a sample site map. We will add up to 30 page links. You may add more pages or change the pages or titles after the initial setup is complete (your fee does not include FWS doing revisions to what you submit, but we will correct any mistakes we might make and you can revise as needed yourself on an ongoing basis).

Completion of Initial Setup: Once your initial setup is complete, we will email you the login information for working on your site and your service/hosting invoicing will begin. You can add or change pages as needed immediately and begin adding content to your site. To help you use Faithwebsites, we recommend watching an online demo of our system if you have not already. We will show you what tools are available and how to create pages and add content to your site. Live demos are offered monthly, or you can watch a video at your convenience. Going Live with your new site: When you are finished with your site and ready to have a domain name point to it, email sales@faithwebsites.com with the desired "go live" date at least 10 business days in advance if you will be transferring an existing domain name. Only 2 business days notice is needed for new domain names or when keeping your name with its current registrar. In that email, please indicate if you currently have a domain name (and it if should be transferred or re-directed) or if you would like to buy a new domain name (approx. $9 annually). Faithwebsites will reply with information needed to take your site live.
